Middly is a free iPhone app that finds fair places to meet in London: areas you can both reach in the same time on public transport, and the pubs, cafés and restaurants in them.

Halfway on a map isn't halfway on the Tube.
London's transport isn't even. One of you might be on a fast line straight into the centre, the other a bus and two changes away. So the point halfway between you on a map can be a quick hop for one person and a long trek for the other.
Middly ignores the map distance and works with travel time instead. It looks for the places you can both reach in about the same time, at the time you're actually travelling.

Middly maps everywhere each of you can reach by public transport, finds where those areas overlap, and starts with the shortest travel time that works for both of you.
Pick a place and send it
Choose cafés, pubs, food or parks. Compare ratings, prices, opening hours and each person's journey, then share the place or open directions in Citymapper, Apple Maps or Google Maps.

Yes. Middly is free to download and use. It shows a small banner ad.
Can more than two people use it?
Right now Middly finds places for two starting points: you and one other person.
Does Middly work outside London?
Not yet. Middly covers London for now. More cities are planned.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. Middly is on iPhone (iOS 15.1 or later), and an Android version is planned.
